As of this week I have begun the arduous task of going back to the working world after having a new baby. I have to say that although it is nice to have a break from the crying and spitting up, it is very difficult to leave my two month old at home. Not only am I exhausted and lucky to leave the house every morning remembering to put on underwear, but I am finding it very difficult to balance the desire to be a good mother to by and the need my family has for me to bring in money. Does working full time make me a part time mother? How can one stay poised enough to be a good worker and a good mother at the same time? These are questions that at this point in time I do not know the answer too.
